John 1:4-5 KJV In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Seek the light. Since a child I have been always searching after something. This something I didn’t know what it was. As a child my parents took me to church. My first experience of an encounter with God was at age 5. Back then I didn’t know who God was but I did feel His presence of peace and light. On a Sunday school morning, we were all gathered together upstairs in the church building, there I was sitting next to a young man. The teacher said that we were to recite psalm 23. I interjected that I would not and if this man next to me won’t recite, I won’t. The young man said he will recite. So, I said fine, I will, too.
We all recited psalms 23. After reciting psalms 23, I had an encounter with God. This was my first experience with the supernatural of God. I felt a light shining on me, like as if someone was watching me, protecting me. Psalms 23 The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalms 23 is packed with powerful revelation of who God is and what He does for His sheep. Pray this psalm and see what happens.
Psalms 23:1-6 KJV A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
